I need an honest tranny shop in Houston, TX area. I have four stripped threads holding the pan in my wife's Jetta TDI Auto.

I know it's a VW, but hey it's a Diesel, and my sister used to own a W123 Turbodiesel.

I was thinking of re-tapping them myself and if I didn't get a good result or effed up, I could have a tranny shop put in helicoils. I'm afraid if I eff uk the helicoils, I've bought a valve body!!
