Installation of quad window switch on front console

I can get the switch set for about $44, but how do I remove the old one and put the new one in the console. It is sealed up like a turtle shell ??

Somehow that info got lost in cyber space... the model is a 99
ML320, and I want to replace the console window switch module, which includes 4 window switches and other switches as a totol unit.... thanks, Ben Carter

Empty junk out of center console storage area
Remove 2 black screws in bottom of storage area.
Remove storage box
Set parking brake
Key to "ON", sep on brake, put selector lever in "drive"
Push upwards on wood trim panel from underneath HARD, whole panel will unclip
Pull up on panel, disconnect wiring connectors, including the one for the ciggy lighter. Watch for the little U shaped latches on the connectors.
Once the whole wood trim panel is out, you'll see the 4 small latches (2 front, 2 rear) holding the switch assembly to the wood panel, just pry these in with your thumbnail to disconnect it.
Goes back together pretty much the same way it came apart.
