Question S500 Trunk (open speed adjustment)???

Noticed that my trunk (S500) is now a bit fast, if I'm not watching, it could knock me out!!!

Is there an adjustment to the springs, or are there shock pistons like the new S500's that need to be replaced? Haven't torn the trunk apart yet!!! :p

Thnaks in advance

BOBB

Exclamation Trunk speed

Well this was easy. Just spring adjustments. The newer S500 has shock pistons which make opening speed real smooth. Guess I will have to save $$$ to get one of those!

The newer S Class cars also have springs.
