Failed vacuum locking system with a quirk
 

Hello friends, I need some advice --

My vacuum pump appears to be going south -- locking works sometimes, other times it doesn't. When it doesn't, I'll hear a clicking sound coming from under passenger side dash and my headlights/taillights will flash as if the alarm has been triggered. (no horn sound though)

Until I solve the vacuum pump problem, is there a way to disable the alarm system, save removing the "C" fuse? It's getting very annoying having to drive with my lights on, to keep them from blinking. :eek:

Lock alarm problem
 

Hi,

Have you checked the floor under the front passenger carpeting for water damage? The alarm ecu is down there under a plastic panel.

Also check connections at the vacuum pump under the rear seat right side, in a foam enclosure.
