Thank you all for your replies.

I have checked for tire pressure and they are OK. Also, few days ago I put the summer tires back on, but the symptom is still there.

The pitman arm along with the front wheel bearing was replaced few weeks ago, but it did not help the problem. I also replaced the passanger-side rear half axle few months ago since it had broken off.

I will double check the links, bushings and bolts on all sides again.

Thanks.

Check all four rear subframe mounts. If they are torn (as I expect they are), the rear subframe is going to move, not just the wheel carrier.

I can sympathize with trying to find handling problems. I'm sorting through a 560SL that when I entered a right-hand turn Interstate ramp, set the car up for maximum accelleration into the turn, pushed it to the point of near-drift then abrubtly let off the gas - the front dove right and under followed by an immediate push from the rear....... really scary!

I've now replaced all of the F&R subframe mounts, rear suspension bushings, body and differential mounts in the rear and F&R anti-sway links. Next will be a steering box adjustment (too much play) and then perhaps upper control arms/lower control arm bushings and ball joints/tie rod ends, etc.

I can't stand for it to misbehave!

Frank

Thumbs up Problem Fixed!

Thank you all. The problem is fixed.

A bolt was loose (photo). I am not sure what the link is called. Somehow the bolt had gotten loose. Thank you Steve.

Zorin, your picture shows what appear to be radial cracks in the rotor. Do you experience any vibrations when braking? Time to replace the rear rotors.

That's the inner (eccentric) tie rod bolt, and having it loose would definitely cause the tire to change toe on acceleration!

If that "toe-link" was loose, I'd get a new alignment.
