I know this sounds stupid but I have to ask. One of my friend is having trouble with his door closing aid(W140), and I tell him to do the fuse trick(take out the fuse, and put it back). And he accidently pulled out the fuel pump fuse while the car is running!!!! Now he's concern about harm been done to the car.....though I told him if the car runs, it should be fine... :p

My question is, will there be any harm done to his car at all??

It would be the same if he ran out of fuel or if the fuel pump quit. NO harm done!
