I had my 97 E320 60k serviced with an independent mechanic, after a few weeks driving, heard a funny noise coming off the front inside left fender (driver side) It sounds like liquid coming back and forth (swooshing sound) when the car goes in stop and go motion. I tried isolationg it if it's coming from my gas tank but really sounds like coming from the front and inside the fender shell. I have not talked to the guys yet but just wondering if anybody has any idea what's going on...Tried to raised the car see if any water comes out but no luck..I know they wased my car after the service just don't know what gives with the liquid sound.....thanks

You have water inside the rocker panels. If you look on the underside of the rocker area you should see a rubber plug with holes in it. The holes are plugged. If you clean the holes the water should drain out.
