'87 300e

Can anyone give me insight on where the fuel sending unit is on a '87 300E? Thanks Dave

"Fuel Sending Unit" = Fuel Pump?
Try under the car, near the passenger's side rear wheel (covered by a plastic panel)
"Fuel Sending Unit" = Fuel Pump Relay?
Behind the battery, remove the plastic cover.

Tank stands 'on edge' between rear seatback and trunk in this car.

Sending unit is accessed from the trunk side.
Remove the panel on the front side of trunk to gain access.

The fuel gauge sender is located at the top of the tank, accessible from inside the trunk. Detach the carpet trim concealing the front wall of the trunk, and you will see it.
