does anyone know where I can find the schematic to reconnect the entire a/c system?? Dont ask how, but the a/c has not properly worked for awhile. I took it to an a/c specialist and he told me that the condensor has a hole and leaks freon. He also asked "what the hell happened to the electrical wiring to the a/c unit"??
Can someone help. |
What year & model car??? Where would you want dia faxed to?

Thanks for getting back so soon. My car is a 1986 MB 190E-16v with aftermarket a/c. Can you send the electrical wiring schematic for the a/c system to slk528@yahoo.com. Oh by the way, did all 16v have headers on them or was it just the Euros. Also since Im changing the condensor and recr/dryer and having the car converted to r-134a, should I change the expansion valve too?? I was reading some archived files on a/c and I think that someone had mentioned that should also be done??

If you can find an aftermarket expansion valve rated for R134a, then go for it. You might consult with the mfg. of your aftermarket A/C system. Make sure the evaporator core is OK as well. Schematics with non factory air will again have to come from the mfg. Factory diagrams may be available from Steve. He's pretty nice about sharing that kind of stuff. Otherwise, get the CD for your car.
