In need to replace the dimmer for the instrument lights on my '82 300SD. Is this a
DIY or is it best left to and expert. I have never had the instrument cluster out so it is /will be a new experience. Any suggestions please. ------------------ 82 300SD 100K 91 Caprice SS 92 Jetta TD |
This cluster is easy to get out if you have the cluster hook pullers. You just pull it out and disconnect the wires.

Once the cluster is out is the dimmer replacement straight forward of is it surgical proceedure?
