Euro Door lock pins? (W124)
Does anybody know the part number or if I can even get them in the US?
These are the shorter door lock pins that they use for W124s elsewhere in the world (I believe). They are shorter and don't look like golf tees... I like those better because when the doors are locked they are flush with the door panels. Thanks -Holson-

Maybe try one from a ML and see if it works OK. Don't go too short, or it'll drop down below the collar and then not come back up through the hole.

I have a new set of 4 available for cheap. I'm not sure the part numbers but I have a set on my W201 and W124 and they make a big difference for such a small item.

Your local dealer (cringe) should have them - ask for door lock knobs from a late model SLK. They can't be more than a couple bucks each and are the narrow head type (not the mushroom head type) and retract into the doors when locked. Enough so that the knob doesn't get trapped, but can't be pulled up with your fingers. Works well for childproofing the rear doors.
They're a bit tough to remove from Euro cars once installed - I think they use Lock-tite on the threads. |

560 SEC used that type of knob, part #123 766 00 22. Shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks each at your local dealer.

Went to the dealer today and requested for door lock knobs for SLK. The guy put down two in his computer, when I said "I need 4".. he was kind of puzzled.
The part number was indeed that 123 .... it was a $1.21
