Shocks for '95 S320 (W140) - any aftermarket?

I get a pseky vibration at around 60 miles per hour and a pretty bad performance from my shocks going over a bumpy dirt road at low speeds. So I assume it is time to change my shocks. I am not looking for performance, but rather price.
I got a quote of $110 front and $195 rear (I do not beleive I have the auto level).
That seems very high for shocks, sice I just paid about $120 for four shocks for my Porsche.
Does anyone know of a good and cheap aftermarket solution?
Thanks,
Sab.

Try Fastlane at the top of the screen. Cheap shocks are often false economy unless you plan on selling the car soon. Fastlane lists Sachs and Bilstein both of which I think are OEM quality.

www.********.com has Monroe Sensa-Tracs for ~$50 each. MB + Monroe doesn't click in my book.

The prices you have add up to about what's offered through FastLane. FastLane offers Bilstein HD and Sachs with Sachs costing more than Bilstein. Or you have pretty good prices for pairs.
