Please help 1984 se axle removal

hello to all how do i get the axle's out of the rear end on a 1984 380 se thanks to all that respond
i have it on stands right now in my garage please help

the axle is held in place with a bolt you access in the center of the hub visible with wheel removed, and a c-clip found inside the differential housing after removing the cover.you will need to drop the exhaust,support the differential with a floor jack and unbolt the support(4 bolts/rubber donut) loosen sway bar bolts.a small locking plier helps you remove c-clips easily, rotate axel until tab on clip faces you.pray axel is not rusted tight in wheel housing and tolerences are very tight here so you will need to remove wheel side first and by twisting the axel at the joint to clear the housing then you will be able to remove it.difficulty factor-three beers&eleven muttered obsenities

Or after you remove the clip inside the differential you can just disconnect the shock behind the rear seat and it will give enough drop of the rear control arm to remove the axle.

thanks guys from the way it looks i cant get to the top upper bolts on the differ housing ----from what i see im going to have to drop the housing to access the upper bolts

done deal and thanks

done deal had to remove callipers 2 bolts so the lower control arm can come down everbody was right on the removel process

man talk about a tight fit
