Drove the SE around today...ran great for a bit, but by the time I parked it in the garage..10%. Have you taken your old pot off yet?

No, not yet. I'm not convinced that the pot is my problem but after all I've read here I'm willing to give it a try. It seems to be a possibility, using the process of elimination. We'll see!

Weirdest thing. I park my car and get 10% fixed koeo. When it's running I get a variation of readings around 10%. After it sits for about an hour I get 70% koeo.

No idle problems at all. Only noticeable deficiency is no decel shutoff and mileage has dropped from 22 to 17.

I too, am not totally convinced the pot is the problem. But for $40, why not try it, as you said.

Same here, to a T. My idle is fine as well.

If I am feeling better tomorrow (I have a nasty cold), I'll pull the potentiometer. I confess I am a little nevous about the process thoughas it sounds tricky, getting the position of the arm marked off and all.

Thanks for the link to the $41.12....now that's a great price, and they offer other parts (some are lower than I've seen elsewhere) but FastLane is a great source as well.

I plan on buying an airflow potentiometer after I verify if I have a leak on the underside of the fuel dist. or not, thus causing flooding problems. I removed my airflow pot. and cleaned it, reinstalled but no change in flooding (although there is a scratch on the surface, so I bet that does not need to be there :D .
