bearing clearances?

What are the running clearances for main bearings, rod bearings, and thrust for a 1990 300SE? I find that my W126 CD is lacking information on the technical end of engine assembly, etc. Any good sources for this type of info?

Thanks, Jon

PS: I have been reading this forum for some time now and find it to be an excellent source of information. This is my first post.

rod bearing clearance is .02-.04mm

M.B.DOC:

Need help with one more set of specs (1990 300SE).

Piston ring gap (top, middle, and oil), ring to groove clearance (again, all three) and piston to bore clearance.

If you can help out that should keep me out of trouble (with my wife, that is - it's her car that I need to get back together!)

Thanks, Jon

The piston ring end gap is 0.2-.04 for ring grooves 1 & 2, and 0.2-0.45 for the oil ring.

The piston ring clearance to the pistons are; Top 0.015-.05
Middle is 0.02-.04 & oil control is 0.01-0.45.

Piston to cylinder clearance is 0.03-0.04
