Why the Doors on a 300SE 1992 do not closed
when they are ajar like they should?.
one door will quit working for days and then it will begin working days later.

Many of the 1992 W140's have(had) this problem, Benz modified the pump 2/93. Try removing the #9 fuse in the TRUNK & see if it works a few times.

Did Mercedes modified the pump again when W140 got facelift?? The pumps on newer W140(1995+)seem to be working quieter, and reacts faster....

I am on my third set of pumps now, and second set quit after 9 months. Strange, isn't it...

I pull the fuses and the doors are working!!
