my electric fan on my mercedes 300e will not work for some reason. i checked the wiring and the relays behind the fuse box.the aux fan fuse seems slightly burnt but still conducts. also, someome told me that thier is a switch under the drivers dash that turns it on and off???
i cant seem to find this switch or get it to work properly, help!!

Adam, replace that fuse, clean up the contacts at that location. Also what temp does the engine get to while you wait for the fan to come on??

The fan should come on low with the A.C. on and the car at idle on a hot day.

The aux fan should run on high with engine temps above 115.

To check, just bridge the high pressure switch on the a.c drier. (red) The fan should come on low.
