I own a '87 190E 2.3-16 that needs new shock absorbers. Are they able to be changed easily without compressing the springs?

The front strut replacement does take special tools and the spring does have to be compressed.
The rear takes one special tool and the the spring does not have to be replaced. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1991 GMC Syclone ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
