Jump Cables

For a 5 cylinders MB diesel engine, what should be a very good wire gauge for a 10 feet long jump start cable?
Those cables commercially sold are not extrong enough for diesel jump due the small gauge #8.

Buy yourself some welding cable & really good clamps.
