88 300e dash plug problem very bad?
 

when i pulled my dash yesterday to fix temp gauge problem,which turned out to be a cut wire that was very easy to fix, love it, cheap fix.
the problem is the the round plug goes in any way,which i did not notice at the time. seems the key is broken. put it in wrong.
burned out a few bulbs.
question, how can i verify the correct mount point, where does # one line up on plug. any picture would help.
could this have damaged any under hood parts, such as computer
or other expensive parts? this is a tough question because with electrical strange things happen. any help would be great.
the plug is on left side with lots of wires,at least ten.
oil pressure gauge is electic which was nice. no line to remove. thank you Rich
