Does anyone know of a good product that i can use to touch up the scrapes in the leather on my driver's seat? (see pic)

Also, my windscreen has a very small (about 2mm) chip in it that's bothering me, typically it's on the driver's side right at eye-level!
Anyone know of a good product to fill in the chip and make it 'dissapear'?

SEM Sure Coat is a terrific product (SEMproducts.com) but color match and gloss match is going to be tough for anything you do. You'd probably have to do the whole panel, at a minimum.

Use some crack-filler, re-dye (give them a sample piece to match your fading), and your done.

Another reputable dye company is www.colorplus.com.

Regarding the eye-level chip, any repair will be less than ideal optically. It will not make the chip disappear. In fact the chip may have to be enlarged in order to do the repair.

I second the recommendation for Colorplus. The best part is they stock MB colors so you don't have to send them a piece of your upholstery. I got some MB gray dye from them and it's a perfect match. I re-dye the outboard bolster on the driver's seat every year or so. It's easy and looks great.

The problem with ColorPlus and Leatherique is that if the color doesn't match, and it sometimes doesn't, there's not much you can do but send it back. With SEM you have the base colors and can retint yourself until you're happy with it. SEM also has gloss additives that you can play around with. I think all three are chemically similar - all good products.

Regarding the chip on your windscreen, if it is in the field of view then a glass repair shop will typically deny repair due to liability. Most insurance companies will cover partial or all replacement cost for the windscreen so investigate this option. I had the exact same situation a year ago and had mine replace for $250 from my pocket and balance covered under insurance.

Be nice if they would, I was thinking about a new windscreen as apart from the chip, mine seems full of dust 'specks', most noticable when you're driving into the sun.
Anyone know how much a new windscreen typically is?

A new windshield can vary quite a bit. From $150 - $900+.
factors include number of vehicles produced (how common is this glass?), specialty features (Laminated, lexan insert, built-in antenna, tint, heating etc) and if Aftermarket replacements are available.

Best to start shopping for OEM and take it from there.

Insurance should cover under Comprehensive. However, you may not have it or the deductible may be higher than the cost of the part.
