Only for a very, very, very brief time. Keep in my that everything including the water pump is driven by the belt. The temp gauge will show coolant temp at the thermostat housing, and will conversly stay cold. The coolant in the block and head will get hot very quickly with no circulation.

well the reason why i have to do that is because I dont want anyone to see my car and the only way this is possible is if I hide it way inside.
I just changed the battery i think it was due to the belt not being able to let the alternate charge properly.

You could switch the two cars and use the garage door to hide them both. Don't be too worried about people finding out you drive a BMW, though; some people like them (including me)

Talking smile when you say that

Hello Sid The Kid
its a red bmw 535i.
Take pride, add it to your sig line.

Do not buy it if you do not like it; or you are getting an expensive piece of junk, applies to almost anything, ink pens, tools, cars, etc.
Have a great day.

Actually the car is so embarassing it was towed home 4 times last year for various problems. I dont want people in the neighborhood to know the car belongs to me .
Anyway, when I was in the market for a car the only car I was interested in was a BMW 535i. My car was good to me in the begining, but now its already on its 4th transmission that seems to have a very limited lifespan. It breaks down on average 1 every 6 weeks with something minor and 3 times a year with something major. However. the amount of money and time I have put in this car I dont think I could ever let it go. It won 1st place in concours in 1998. I dont think I will buy a BMW again in the future.
The kids in my neighborhood find it fun to egg my car so thats why I have to hide it. My garage is not fully covered.

If the kids in my neighborhood thought it was funny to egg my cars, I would show them how funny it would be when I call the police!

In my neighborhood the police don't care, I called them 5 times, vistited their office, and they could care less. I even told them where one of them lives and what he looks like.
