Recently bought a '72 280SEL 4.5 naturally the temp controls were missing. Obtained aftermarket replacement from Adsit Co. Can someone point me to install proceedures. Search turned up 0.

This is a tough job. You have to take alot apart to do this. I would find someone local who has done this and pick thier brain!!

Dick,
I finally came across my notes on the levers. They are made by AutoLux 1-949-493-5578. They are called Duralevers. We have replaced a number or 108 cars levers with these units, from the outside in a minimum amount of time but I, personally, have never done it anyway but with factory levers. If they can't provide the instruction sheet give me a buss and I see who here has done it before. |
