I have read through archives and not been able to spot any previous articles that address my issue specificaly. Problem: after setting alarm the system seems to go off without any real cause. Questions: 1} How can I trouble shoot which alarm sensor is defective? 2} Is it worth the effort to try and fix?

Be sure that the sensor under the rear seat has been disconnected. It is rare to still see them. They are round cylinders that were used to detect vehicle movement. The problem is that it is filled with Mercury, the Merc is temperature sensitive and there is a problem.
