1997 c230 a/c charge
 

i tried to charge my a/c.......i used a can and hose kit from auto zone........i followed the directions on the can..........the car acted as if there was another valve or check valve in the system preventing me from filling.........my haynes manual says to take it to a dealer......do i need to or can this be done by a novice......help

It doesn't have to necessarily go to a dealer, but it DEFINITELY DOES need to go to someone with a/c experience, understanding and manifold guages instead of a suicide kit from AutoZone.
