94' European E420 differential?
I recently drove a European version of the W124 E420.
When driving at 100 km/h (60mph) the engine was running at around 2400 rpm. So I guess it does not have the 2.24 rear differential. Does anybody know what differential they had from stock? |

European Version?
From everything I've read here in past posts - the E420 (in W124 form) was never offered in Europe.
Could it have been a grey market import from the States to Europe? Troy 1995 E420 75k |

Notice the european engines are rated at 279hp. The car was never offered in RHD, so maybe that is where the confusion comes in. Here is a German site you could post to to find out the rear end ratio in europe: http://www.f22.parsimony.net/forum43054/ Mike
