I've been hearing this noise come on and off, and it sounds like it's coming from the driver's side.

Also, I keep blowing a fuse in which I don't know what it's for.

In my car ('76 230) there are two small fuse boxes which hold two fuses each between the battery and the main fuse box. The fuse that keeps blowing is the front box, the furthest left fron the driver.

I'd appreciate any help on this as my service manual has no info. on these two little fuse boxes.

Thanks in advance,

AARON ROCHARD

Actually, on further investigation, I believe it to be related to my engine fan coming on when the car is in slow traffic. I'll try and grease the joints and see if this is the problem. All belts seem fine.
