126 ABS Light is On
My ABS has come on while driving, and now lights up after each start-up once the car is moving 5-10 MPH. I think the alternator is ok, with a 13.8V reading while idling. The battery seems fine; the car starts immediately even in 10 degree weather.
Both front ABS sensors were changed one year ago. I'm wondering if the problem is electrical or actually the ABS. If the alternator was not putting out sufficient charge, wouldn't the ABS light come on immediately after starting the car? The fact that the ABS light comes on only after I'm moving makes me think that one of my sensors is bad (or gunked up with road salt). Any help is appreciated. Thanks |
My bets on one of the sensor signals.
