often when I start the car the blower does not start. Hit a bump, shut the hood, slam the door.....anything can start it ...or not.
the longest it has ever been off is a mile or 2. also sometimes when it is blowing fine and I brake you can hear the blower motor slow a little. this makes me think it may be a ground problem. what do ya'll think? ------------------ |

I think you're probably ready for a new blower motor. It can be replaced in 1.5 hours if you work at it. A new unit is about $230 if I remember correctly. It's been a while. ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician Precision Motorcars, Cincinnati, Ohio '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '80 300SD '85 380SE '86 420SEL '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk.III '81 DeLorean DMC12 '84 BMW 745i Turbo |
