1994 C220 Transmisssion (no reverse)
 

Lately I was having to shift manually since it appears that my kickdown switch was not working properly. The car ran just fine as long as you shifted manually. Now, I can't get it to go into reverse. I get very slow-unpowered movement in reverse but can't really go up the driveway in reverse.

Are there any adjustments available to this transmission? Would this problem be related to the bad kickdown switch? Are there any additives that may delay the inevitable rebuild?
