Does anybody know if the A/C condenser in my buddy's '85 Euro 280 SL would be interchangeable with one from a US model 380 SL of the same year? His has the dryer bolted to the condenser on the left side, and the condenser attaches to the body via two "L" brackets at the top, and two additional brackets about halfway down the sides that are bolted through the sheet metal right behind where the lower edge of the grill is when the hood is closed. Thanx for any info!

It should/could work. The only thing to do with these is to check and see. Take out the old one and match them up. If it does not fit, you may have to look toward a specialty shop to make one or fix that one.
