Alarm Problem-help! 96' S420
 

I have a 96' S420 that has the alarm lights red and green in the rear view mirror. You push the key fob to lock the doors and the red light in the mirror blinks for 3 seconds and them blinks green upon puching to unlock the doors.

The problem I encountered today is when you lock or unlock the doors, BOTH red & green lights blink in the mirroe for about a minute? what's going on here? I locked the car and then set off the alarm and it works perfect.

Please help!
