A question about sunroof repairs: 72 SLC

Prior to changing sunroof gaskets it worked ok. Replaced gaskets and now it will not open, but will close. I understand a little of the operations of the sunroof, but not fully and can not seem to find much info on it repairing and operations. I purchased your 107 CD and that was a little help. Nothing is binding, and is tracking easily. Motor runs fine, just seems as if I somehow disconnected the opening operations, whereas the closing works fine.
