Remote Key
 

The remote key of my SL500 consume battery very often. Something is shorting inside the circuit apparently. Where can I buy a replacement aside from the dealer?

I had the same problem with my 95S420 remote key. I'm not the original owner, but was lucky enough to contact the original owner and get all 3 missing keys. The one remote key he had would do the same thing. After dissassembly, I noticed that the solder joint on the positive battery lead looked too large and was indeed contacting the side of the battery below it, effectively shorting out the top battery. 10 minutes of heating and solder sucking removed the excess. Results: working remotes. Take a look at yours, they may be similar.
