Is there a way to make the elctric fans come on at a lower temp?

There was a post on the R.Easley / Stu ? website that outlines this procedure to help the car run at lower temps.

b/c when I'm in stop and go traffic w/ the a/c the temp starts getting high, and then the fan kicks on, but I would rather it come on sooner so it won't get to high.

The fan must be coming on with it's low speed, then in extreem conditions, it will use the high fan speed. This is probably what you are hearing. Be shure the low speed is working.
