too fast warm idle...

Took a drive in our '83 380SL Saturday, first nice day in a while here in Missouri. As we got off the highway, I noticed the idle way too high. When we got home, started diagnosing, found no current at the idle air valve, so I went to check the idle control unit under the dash, and voila, the connector had fallen off. I may have worked it loose a few weeks ago as I was checking something else, but I have to wonder if anybody else has had this happen. I think maybe a tie strap could be used to hold it on as it doesn't have a lock on the connector.
