center armrest coming lose
Allright I did my search and couldn't find the answer to this.
the center console on the 260E has become lose where it's kinda wiggles in the left/right position. it's still holding it's position in the up/down direction. I noticed the mechanishm inside the back of the seat is where the lose parts are. has anyone tried to fix this ? is it easy ? thanks for the help.

Are you talking about the center console or the arm rest? To tighten the armrest, just tighten down the large nut inside the seat frame.

Rick,
I'm referring to the armrest. Do I have to take the seat cover off to access the large nut or should I just remove the two screws first holding the armrest in place and would that expose the large nut in the seat that you're referring to ? thanks.

I'll have to look at my '87 TD. I was speaking form experience with my '83 TD. To get to the big nut you remove the seatback cover by removing the 2 screws at the bottom and just pull the cover down and off. I haven't had to do this with my '87 which would have the same seats as your 260.
