Please, somebody tell me that this is NOT the head gasket. The oil leak is apparently on the far back of the head, but not the valve cover. I have used engine cleaner and tightened the valve cover gasket. The engine is oil free, except for back against the firewall. The area immediately under the valve cover gasket is dry.
I don't really notice muc oil drip on the driveway, because it drips onto the exhaust. Creates occasional smoke at traffic lights and always smells like oil is burning when stepping out of the car. Thanks in advance ------------------ -Steve |

You are correcto! New head gasket is needed.
