c140 coupe - seat question
 

I have a 94 S600 coupe. The seats are supposed to shift up and forward automatically when the seat back is pushed forward. Mine has never done this. Anyone know if this is a easy one to fix? I will live with it if involves spending much money, as the only thing that travels in my back seat is a briefcase.

its a computer chip that is causing this. i think that is called a customer convenience module. probably will cost about $300-$500.

also check the micro switches in the back of the seat hinge - they seem quite exposed and vulnerable. mine work 95% of the time

remove the covers left and right and have a dig about....
