headlight wipers

a couple of years ago I changed my headlights to Euro but kept the original headlight wipers. I just swapped them left with right and they worked fine for some time. now both are dead and I want to get a pair of wipers for the Euro lamps. from what I hear installing them will not be easy and will require drilling some holes under the headlights in order to place them in the right position. has anyone been through this? is there an easy way to do this or is my mechanic exagerating and it's just a simple swap? thanks for any feedback.

hello

it will be no problem if you get the correct mounting brackets for the euro's. likely the only problem will be the shaft location. you may have to doctor up that small panel with a new hole and fill in the other.

no one believed me when i said i did what you said. all i did was make a 4 wire jumper on the one motor and they work fine. all i did was modify the brackets with a couple of new holes and slots and they fit fine.

call phil he should be able to get the bracket part numbers so you can order them.
