How much would it cost to replace a diesel injection pump on a 1990 300D? While looking through the service records of a pretty clean example for sale, I noticed that one of the notes said "needs injection pump bad". The car shows a dramatic loss of power on inclines and idels roughly.

I wonder if it does need a pump? I have seen this loss of power before, and it is usually related to the anaroid system or the cam timing..
