Source for factory manual

Finding an inexpensive source for a comprehensive shop manual for my 96' E320 appears to be more difficult than I thought. Those CD's listed on Ebay (fix every known MB back to day one) I'm skeptical of. The factory CD and microfilm versions are expensive. Anyone know of a source that's less expensive that's available?

Don't be too quick to pooh-pooh the CDs from eBay. CDs hold a lot of information. They're packed with information for your car and have room to spare for information on other models as well. In fact, aren't they simply bootleg copies of factory CDs?

Kestas is correct - you would be buying bootleg information.

I started to say, if you know of an "honest" source on ebay, but that would be a contradiction. The CDs being sold there are " copies" and as such are stolen property. Like it or not, that's all it is. Copyrighted information that's been copied illegally.

If you manage to get a complete CD from ebay, good for you. If not, don't be surprised. After all, what could one expect from thieves.
