W126 engine loom and false firewall
 

I am about to have both heads pulled and gaskets replaced.

Whilst this work is underway I am going to do a lot of other maintenance/repair work that makes sense.

Has anyone priced up and or replaced the engine wiring loom or the false firewall?

The loom is dry and brittle and two connectors have broken, parts of the false firewall have lost there insulation.
