can heater core be sneaked out on 88 190 2.3
 

is there an easier way to replace heater core on this 190 than pulling the whole dash.
one can only wish.
on a 67 chevelle i could do r,r in 30 minuites by drilling out i bolt.
car did not have ac though,
hey, its worth asking. on a thread from a week or two ago some one did ac evap from under the hood by going under the wiper motor area

NO! the dash & heater box must come out. AT dealer the job was about 6-8 hrs.

However the A/C evaporator is only a 2-3 hr job on the W201 chassis.
