mercedes fuel distributor

would the fuel distributor have anything to do with the benz rough ideling?

MB STARS 03-04-2004 03:43 PM

Answer is yes fuel distributor is part of fuel system ,the ignition system also will cause rough idle, any vacuum leak??

J.HIDALGO 03-04-2004 06:17 PM

It WAS the cause of a rough idle in my case.

Steve B. diagnosed it for me, after I tried to fix all the "regular" suspects...

MB STARS 03-04-2004 10:03 PM

I'll lose fuel line on top of fuel distributor one by one with engine running try to find out witch one cause running problem and then put a test injector on it start engine see the injector spray fuel or not ??? becareful with GAS.

So if theres a problem with the distributor, is changing it the only option? Also is getting a used one a good idea?

Before you change anything, get it diagnosed or be prepared to pay some $$$.

Good luck!
