on my 1985 500sel the wood console i chiped and cracked any one know where i can get a new one and how much it would cost. should i have someone put it in or do it my self

If you don't mind used parts you can try ABC Used Autoparts (800-343-6122) in MA. They'll pick the part from their inventory of totaled Mercedes and sell it to you, they claim at 50% but I've found them to be quite flexible.

no not the ones around the defrost and hazord swich i mean the one by the gear selector.
