Leon, Call the folks at Pacific Fuel Injection out in San Francisco. I know some pump cores (like the 250, for instance) are hard to get and I have heard of many incidences of shops claiming not to have ever received the rebuildable unit and have run off with a $300 core. Obviously the diesel pumps are pretty numerous, but you never know. Those guys can work magic! Pacific rebuilt the pump in my 250 Cabrio and did a wonderful job at that. Turnaround was four weeks and the car is running great (and has just turned 14,000 miles!). Pacific's number is (650) 588-8880, ask to speak with Gus. ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician Precision Motorcars, Cincinnati, Ohio '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '80 300SD '85 380SE '86 420SEL '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk.III '81 DeLorean DMC12 '84 BMW 745i Turbo |
