After having windows tinted done on my car, ABS light came on during normal operation, would not turn off, tripmeter, gas calculator, cruise control and speedometer is not working. The shop told me that they've charged my battery because it became week during the process of putting the window up and down. Coincedence or Am I screwed! Checked all the fuses and nothing is busted. Any info before I head for the Dealer. Would this be a major...Thanks For any info...Carlos

I'm no expert, but give me a crack.

I know when the system gets low vcoltage, the "air bag" or some other idiot light will come on. You need to go to a dealer and they will "reset" the codes. (they should do that for free). If a light remains, you may need some maitenance.

Since you checked the fuses, I am puzzled there. Somehow, somewhere, something shorted. I would probably replace though fuses first and see what happends. Could be that the fuses looks good, but they may not be, then go from there.

You have a fuse blown somewhere. Your S class has more than one fuse box.

Tried interchanging fuses,(ABS has no assigned fuse)using good spare ones, nothing happened, ABS still stays lighted...ready to give up and make an appointment with the dealer...Although right now my odometer does not gain any mileage...good or bad?...Just a thought....Thanks again...carlos
