Springs (CLK to 300E)
 

I would like to enhance the handling of my car by replacing the springs. While I realize there are after market sources I would like to know if CLK 320 springs would provide the same effect as sportline springs on a 300E. Is there any one who is familiar with the dimensions and specifications well enough to say if such a conversion is possible?

Just a hunch, but I would say no. The CLK is built on the C-class platform, which is smaller and lighter than the W124 chassis. Springs that are developed for one chassis probably wont work all that well on another. If you had springs from the W124 400E or E420, they would be a more likely candidate.
