Where is my air pump? 94 c280
 

I've just pulled a P0411 code from my car after the check engine light went on. After doing a search on the forum, I can see this relates to the air pump, and that one of the steps I should follow is to check for any leaks on related vacuum hoses. Can someone tell me where to find the air pump and how to identify it properly? The car is a 94 C280.

Right front lower part of engine, below the alternator.

I'm working on a 97 c280 right now.. I found it in the pass. side of teh trunk, behind the carpet
Maybe for 94 its different though

I think the poster is referring to the AIR (Air Injection Reaction) pump. Not the vacuum pump in the trunk. If that is the case, then Pili380SL posted the correct location.
